Acceleration

Stargate School recognizes that some children may benefit academically, socially, and/or emotionally from multiple forms of acceleration:  whole grade, single-subject, and classroom based acceleration practices.  

Use the links below to read Stargate's acceleration policy and protocols and see our high school graduation requirements. Use the links on the right to refer a student for single-subject or whole grade acceleration, or to provide evidence for an appeal of an acceleration decision. Please note, acceleration referrals close on October 1st of each year. If there is strong evidence of the need for acceleration after this date, please contact Dr. Rundquist, cynthia.rundquist@stargateschool.org.
