  • Student Who Cares Award: Congratulations to Stargate 2025 Grad, Suhani Dureja for being awarded the The Student Who Cares Award, by the Colorado Association of School Resource Officers. Retired officer and SRO, Mike Couture nominated Suhani for her extraordinary dedication to school safety and community service.

High School Orchestra : Congratulations to the Stargate High School Orchestra! They spent part of last week and weekend at the American String Teacher Association National Orchestra Festival in Atlanta Georgia and won first place in the Full Orchestra division!
This highly prestigious award requires submission of two years worth of competitive scores, an audition video, and letters of recognition from respected musical professionals.
The Full Orchestra division is a difficult division due to the complexities of working with strings, brass, and percussion. This was recognized by the judges, who called special attention to the dedication of the performers and conductor, Ariane Pegler. The group pulled together to rise above technical issues outside of their control, and were professional and triumphant!
Way to go Eagles! We are so proud of you!Orchestra students holding winning trophy

School Safety Outreach
Stargate's SRO, Officer Couture, has been mentoring students here and empowering them to make a difference their community.  Inspired to promote school safety, these incredible students created a Safe2Tell presentation to educate their peers on how and when to use this important resource.  But they didn't stop there!
With Officer Couture's guidance, they also raised funds to provide medical bags for classrooms at Northglenn Middle School, ensuring students and staff have access to critical emergency supplies.  A big thank you to Northglenn Police SRP Festi for his support!
We are grateful for these students' leadership and kindness, and for Officer Couture's guidance.
