Admissions Policy

Stargate School is a charter school for identified intellectually gifted students. Stargate School carefully considers each applicant. Our Admission Policy is reviewed periodically to ensure its integrity. Recommendations for changes are presented to the Governance Board for annual review and the Board must approve any modifications.

Stargate School’s Admission Policy is a two-step process. The school first seeks to identify qualified students through a defined process and then their name is placed in the lottery for space available placement.

The Admissions Policy includes:

  • Identification of Gifted Students
  • Admitting Qualified Students
  • Notification
  • Lottery Process
  • Applicants Who Do Not Qualify
  • Additional Information
    • Students with Special Needs
    • Minimum Age
    • Applicant Lottery Pool
    • Equal Opportunity
    • Return Policy
    • Withdrawing
