OPEN SEATS: SCHOOL ACCOUNTABILITY COMMITTEE
Voting Period: Sept 17 (Midnight) - Sept 27, 2021 (4PM MST)
Nomination Period: closed for the Fall 2021 election
It's time for the Stargate School Accountability Committee (SAC) election.
Voting will be conducted between Sept 17 (midnight) and Sept 27 (4pm MT) to fill:
2 parent seats (2-year terms)
In SAC elections, Parent seats are voted on by eligible parent/guardian members of the Stargate Community. Staff seats are voted on by eligible staff members of the Stargate Community. Stakeholders receive either a parent or a staff ballot but not both. Remember, every parent/guardian is eligible to vote (not just 1 vote per household).
Election results will be posted the evening of the last day of the voting period (Sept 27) on the Election Results page. In addition, an email announcement will be made to Stargate stakeholders, usually within 24 hours after results are ratified by the Election Committee..
This year, because the number of Staff applicants was equal to or less than the number of seats available, Stargate will ONLY be conducting an election for Parent seats. A Staff election will not be held to fill the 2 open Staff seats.
