Finding Communities of Interest

We know that some of life’s most important and lasting lessons are learned outside the classroom. Stargate’s extracurricular offerings provide outlets for students to nurture and grow their existing talents and explore new ones, while making friends with students who share their interests.

Before school, after school and weekend options are available for students. As they pursue their interests, students can:
  • Explore diverse interests
  • Learn how to manage time and prioritize commitments
  • Discover what it means to make a long term commitment
  • Make a contribution to something beyond themselves
  • Boost self-esteem by finding things they are really good at
  • Build friendships and relationships
