There is more to research than Google or Wikipedia!  Here are reliable, on-line resources available to the Stargate community. Check in the Library, or e-mail me for passwords.
EBSCO - available through Adams 12 (contact the Library for password to use from home):  this is a great research tool, which searches magazines, newspapers, books and encyclopedias, TV transcripts, primary source documents and much more.
WorldBook Online - available through Adams 12 (contact the Library for password to use from home) - the classic World Book Encyclopedia - online!
Ask Colorado - State Library program - 24 hour live chat with a Librarian and many other homework help and research links.
Enchanted Learning - Great resource for many elementary homework projects.  Has over 20,000 web pages containing activities, pictures and information for a wide variety of subjects.

California Reading List- a searchable database with books listed by difficulty level.
Carol Hurst's Children's Literature Site - great site with reviews of great books for children and ideas on how to use them.
GT World Reading Lists - books listed on a continuum, rather than by age or grade, from an online support community.
Literature Map - a graphic way to get reading ideas.   Fill in the name of an author, get names of authors that other readers have also read.  Fun and interesting!
Reading is Fundamental - searchable database of books and suggestions for activities to promote reading.
