We are having fun in the classroom getting to know each other, and making new friends. Last week we started our, "Read All About Me" poster by answering questions to fascinating facts, and favorite things. The Friends will continue these this week by adding their photo, coloring and sharing their poster with the class. Please remember to send in a photo for this poster. Thank You!!!
Chain of Kindness
Please ask your student about our "Chain of Kindness" in the classroom. We started this to help promote kindness. I have a feeling it will grow very quickly!
Curriculum Night
Mrs. Morelli and I are working on needs-based grouping. We are hoping to have groups in place by Curriculum Night, Sept. 17th. so you may meet with your students homeroom and literacy teacher. Even within grouping you can expect flexible small-group instruction based on skills and interests. We do our best to accommodate the needs of each student, so some changes may occur throughout the year.

Thanks so much for snack!! We appreciate your time and effort to donate snack. Mrs. Morelli will send a reminder in your Monday Folder the week prior to your snack sign up week. We are good till about the end of Oct. then if you would like to sign up for morning snack that would be great. Thank you for all you do!!
Theme
For theme, we are engaged in creating a positive attitude about school by learning the Stargate Values, Safe, Tolerant, Attitude, Respectful and Responsible. We have been practicing social and emotional skills. This week we'll emphasize families and communities. The homework will help students understand rules are necessary at home and school.
