What We Have Been Doing
Math
We have been working on skip counting with twos and fives. Please help your child practice this concept at home. This week we will focus on money, and using our calculators.
Theme
Last week we learned about Hannukah and Kwanzaa. This week we will continue our exploration of Hannukah. We will learn about Christmas, Divali, and Los Pasodas during the next two weeks.
Book Orders
Book Orders are due on Friday, December 14, so that we can get the books before Winter vacation. Their are some great gift ideas in this month's catalog.
Homework
There is no math homework this week and Mrs. Gelakoska's literacy class will not have homework, either.
Holiday Party
If you have not done so, please contact Mrs. Brenda Forrest for the holiday party.
