Math- We worked with patterns last week. The students enjoyed exploring the pattern blocks. We created a graph using our ages. This week we will discuss and explore money.
Literacy- We will continue working on the alphabet this week. We finished our All About Me posters this week. We will move to our literacy teacher next week.

Curriculum Night- Curriculum night is on Monday, September 8th from 6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. You will meet with me to discuss Kindergarten homeroom, Math and Theme. Afterwards, you will have a chance to meet your child's literacy teacher. She will go over the literacy curriculum for your child. We hope to see you there! Please remember that Curriculum Night is an information night for parents. We ask that you don’t bring your children.
Founders Conference- Please consider attending Stargate's Second Annual Founder's Conference. I attended last year and enjoyed the workshops and networking with parents. I will attend the conference again this year. If you are interested, you can visit the Stargate website and click on the Parents tab.
Share- We will begin show and tell on Monday, September 8. We will follow the show and tell schedule throughout the year.
Students can share either an object or a story about something that happened to them away from school. The class will ask 3 questions about what they are sharing. I will model this to the class before September 10. Share will be taught this week.
