Hello all! Here’s to our Team Building at Cheley Camp this week!

Here are the activities in my classroom on Monday and Tuesday this week.

 

This week in Integrated Algebra we near the completion of chapter 2. We have studied integer operations, (linear) algebraic pattern and graphs. On Monday and Tuesday we will use number families and patterns to formalize the rules for division of integers.

 

This week in College Prep Algebra we will review the unit 2 test on Monday. Next we begin unit 3 in which students apply their patterning skills to graphing equations, especially linear and quadratic. The learning objective is for the students to understand that graphs have many different shapes.

 

This week short week in geometry we will begin our study involving triangles and the points of concurrency created from angle bisectors, perpendicular bisectors and altitudes of a triangle. Additionally we practice and refine our construction skills.

 

This week in Algebra II we conclude chapter 3 – linear systems. We have solved system of equations with two and three variables and learned how to graph points and equations in three dimensions.
