The students will be assessed of their knowledge and understanding of Polygons, primarily quadrilaterals. Concepts include interior and exterior angles of polygons, properties of kites, trapezoids, parallelograms, rhombuses, rectangles and squares. We begin the week reviewing our chapter 5 test: Triangle Properties where the students began writing proofs. Our math journey continues in chapter 6 with the study of Polygon Properties. We seek to discover the sum of the angle measures in a polygon and the sum of the measures of a set of exterior angles of a polygon.

We are studying the sum of the measure of interior and exterior angles of triangles, inequalities relationships among the sides and angles of triangles, and triangle congruence relationships.
