Greetings! Today we start a four week unit on alternative energy. We will have a series of discussion/lecture/films followed by the Power Up unit exercises. All the work for the unit will be done in class. There is, however, a homework assignment. It is described on my homework tab. Please check it out. Students will need computer access to do the activities.

You do not need to do the color competition or the insulation race or the heat conduction or windows activities. You do need to do the light bulbs or heat bulbs activities.
You will need to keep a separate notebook for these activities. This notebook will be collected on January 10.
Students who missed tests last week or the Power Up introductory pre-tests need to make them up this week. Today, Wednesday, or Thursday after school are the best times for me. We teachers need to have grades entered by Friday.
