Writing: We will be doing an in-class writing assignment on Tuesday. Students need to have their books from this summer and their Reading/Writing journals.
Reading: No specific reading assignment except to bring their summer reading book or the notes from the book to class this week.
Grammar: Late in the week a quick review to see where we are for subjects, verbs and nouns.
Vocabulary: Weekly vocab begins with the Greek roots pono, pose meaning to put or place and prope meaning near. Vocab definition, part of speech, synonym and antonym are due Friday. Quiz Friday.
