Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful three day weekend and is ready to dive back in
Some notes for the week:
-Grades are being entered in the book as fast as I get them done. There are probably a number of you who are concerned about seeing a “0” for one assignment or another. This is most likely because you did not put your name on it when you handed it in. There will be time to go through those papers and get a grade on them! However, in the future, you will lose 10 points if you turn in work with no name.
-Some of you may also be concerned with the grades you got on your quizzes. These will be given back tomorrow and you will have the chance to correct your work. This will be a one-time only deal as well, since this was the first quiz. You can earn back half credit on any question you miss by answering the questions on a sheet of lined paper and stapling it to the original quiz.
-There will be homework this week! See below for specifics, but check this same blog often for any updates.
Pop Culture: Projects are due THURSDAY. Make sure you communicate with your partner to get them done!
Social Studies:
Tuesday: Finish drawing your machine if you didn’t finish in class.
Wednesday: Finish reading 2.2 and 2.3, complete workbook pages 14-15.
Thursday: Read the rest of chapter 2, complete workbook pages 16-18.
Friday: Study for chapter 2 quiz on MONDAY, workbooks will be collected during the quiz.
