Hello everyone and welcome back! We had a very productive first meeting this morning, and it was great to finally see the whole 7/8 team! As I'm sure you are all aware, we will be taking the ERB tests this week. This means that we will not get a lot of class time, but we will have time to go over my expectations and the general syllabus, get to know each other, and complete a Geography Challenge. Everyone will be assigned their textbook and given a workbook on Tuesday, and the textbooks will need to be covered by next Monday. I suggest either thick paper (paper shopping bags work well) or the stretchy fabric covers you can buy. The workbook covers will be a project next week, so don't cover those! Everyone will also get a syllabus which will need to be signed by their parents. On this form I am asking that parents tell me the best way to get in touch with them. This can be either a phone number or an email address.
Please contact the school if you have any questions for me. At the moment I am not on the starmail system yet, but you can call the school or email Mrs. Krill with my name in the subject, and she will forward them to me.
