I am very excited to begin this year at Stargate in room #206. This begins my 11th year of full-time teaching. I earned my undergrad from BYU, and later returned to CU-Boulder to earn my teaching certificate in Elementary Education. I have completed many graduate courses, most at the College of William & Mary, where I worked in the Center for Gifted Education teaching mathematics to highly gifted 7th and 8th grade math students. I am the mother of one son, Morgan, who begins his first year at Stargate this year as a 6th grader. My passions include hiking, climbing, snowboarding, travel, writing, and spending time with my family. This summer, I hiked Mt. of the Holy Cross, one of Colorado's many beautiful 14,000 foot mountains. I am looking forward to a "revolutionary" new school year!  (Hint, hint!)
