LANGUAGE ARTS: Our vocabulary test has been rescheduled for Friday, February 29th. The test will be matching, covering the 50 words we have studied so far this year. We made study cards last week, and students should spend about 20 minutes reviewing these words each night. We will also spend time in literature circles this week, as the end of trimester approaches on Friday.
MATH: Students are working with partners to solve a "Bike Trip" problem. Students will be presenting their solutions during class this week. We will begin working in Module 6, and there will be homework on practice problems from the book a couple of days this week.
THEME: We will again work on our quilt project on Wednesday of this week. I will have a substitute on Thursday and Friday. Students will be working in small groups to learn more about documents of Freedom during class, and will have some homework about the respiratory system mid-week.
