Hello parents! I took out twenty books for our curriculum on the Revolutionary War and Inventors. I thought I had returned them all and was shocked to discover that three of the books had not been returned. As parents of curious and motivated children, I'm sure that you know that the public library system is one that you don't want to mess with! If you could keep an eye out for the following books it would be much appreciated:

1) What a great idea! Inventions that changed the world
2) The Revolutionary War
3)  The kid who invented the Popsicle

I have searched the classroom and came up empty handed. The library will not let me take out additional books until these are paid for ($105) or returned. I know some students used the books for reference and they may be lurking in a backpack or home, I'm hoping! Thank you very much for looking!

This week in Theme we'll continue to consider the thought process of our founding fathers as they created the constitution. The students will finally have their circulatory system quiz on Tuesday; this was delayed due to the high number of absences on Friday. The field trip was a complete success and we were all impressed with information in the Hall of Life and we were also proud of the students as they represented the Stargate School well. We'll conduct the blood testing this Friday; I know the students are excited for the chance to discover their blood type!
