There is NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 11th, due to Veteran's Day.

Permission slips for our field trip to the Colorado History Museum will be sent home in the Monday folders on 11/10.  They are due back to me by Friday, 11/14

We have the Jim Beckwourth society coming to speak to us on Thursday, November 20th from 12:45 pm-1:45 pm.

The first semester ends on Friday, November 14th!!!  I can't believe 1/3 of the year is already gone!

We are still collecting PINK, Yoplait Yogurt labels.  Keep sending them in!!!

Coming up this week (11/10-11/14)  NOTE:  I have been called for Jury Duty beginning Monday 11/10.  Schedule may change.

• Look at water conservation
• Continue our study of the early people's of Colorado
• Look at early peoples rock art

Highlights from last week:

• Finished our salt dough maps (maps went home on Friday)
• Took notes on the early peoples of Colorado:  Folsom, Plains, Basketmakers and Pueblo
• Continued our study of context with classifying activity
• Jayson did a wonderful job presenting his Student of the Week poster
