Mrs. Halls has graciously offered to do Scholastic book orders for me this year. Please look for catalogs in the 10/6 Monday folders!
Directions for the dough needed for our salt maps will be coming home on Monday, 9/29. Please have the dough ready to bring to school on Wednesday, 10/8. Students will also need a 7x7 piece of cardboard to put their dough on when we make the maps. Thank you for helping with this part of the project!
We will be having a test on the Water Cycle on Thursday, October 9th. Study guides will be coming home on Monday, 9/29.

- Took notes on and discussed states of matter
- Analyzed how the states of matter relate to the water cycle
- Learned about percolation, and transpiration
- Experiment: Changing States of Matter: We made ice cream!!!!!
- Analyzed our experiment and related it back to the water cycle
- Labeled Colorado rivers and looked at the different river basins in the state
- Worked in our My Colorado books
- Brendan, Jordon and Josie brought in fossils for us to look at
- Jaelyn did a wonderful job presenting her Student of the Week poster!
