Our second week is over and these kiddos have been AWESOME!!! They've done a lot of testing and had a great attitude throughout!
NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 1st! Have a fabulous Labor Day weekend!
We will begin switching for literacy and math on Tuesday, September 2nd. As we begin, please give us a chance to get to know your kiddo. A lot of information was taken into account while making placements. The kiddos need to get used to the class and expectations and we need some time to assure that placements are correct. Thank you so much for your support as we get lit and math started!
We have a field trip to Dinosaur Ridge coming up on September 18th. Permission slips will be coming home in the Monday folders on Tuesday, September 2nd.
We are sending home Confidentiality forms in the Monday folders on Tuesday, September 2nd. Anybody coming into the classroom to attend/organize a class party, anyone chaperoning a field trip/overnight, coming for presentations, etc. needs to have one of these forms on file with their signature. Please sign the form and return it with you child. THANKS!!
Curriculum Night for 3/4 is September 10th. There will be a general session from 6:30pm-7:00pm. You can then meet with your kiddo's literacy, math and homeroom teacher.
Mrs. Lebsock came in today, 8/29, to talk to the class about Jordon and his diabetes. She read us a book about a little boy who gets diagnosed with diabetes. She also brought in Buster, Jordon's service dog in training. The kids had FABULOUS questions both about diabetes and Buster.
