What a busy week!!!!  We dissected our owl pellets on Wednesday and Thursday.  The kiddoes did a great job!!!!  In all her years of doing the owl pellets, Mrs. B. has only had one student find a bird skull.  We had two in one class!!  Elysse Waka found a full bird skull with a huge beak and Andrew Zwiers found a small one.  They all were VERY excited about ALL their finds.  I have bleached the bones so they will be whiter and the kiddoes will work, next week, on mounting them and trying to identify them.  Overall, this was an intensive project and they all did wonderfully and learned a lot!

Our Valentine's party will be Thursday, February 14th in the afternoon.  I will be sending home a class Valentin ... Read More »

Welcome back!!!!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful, happy and relaxing holiday break.  I want to say another thank you for all the fabulous holiday gifts I received!  I was touched by the generosity and warm holiday wishes.

Our Economics store was a GREAT success.  I am so proud of all the students and their products.  Their enthusiasm was electric and they all did such a phenomenal job!  Thank you to all the parents who came on the second day to buy from everyone.  I know that all of my kids had to go home and make more products and most of them sold out a second time!  This will be an experience they will always remember and I want to thank everyone for being a part of it.

The Winter Party is next Friday, Dec 21.

Food for the party is supplied by all the parents. It is voluntary. We are hoping that parents will consider one of the following: cookies, fruit, cheese, candy, chips, mini sandwiches, etc..., so that there is a variety of snack items.

The parents running the party will supply the drinks.
