This week in theme: Mr. Jim Paradise will be our guest speaker on May 5, 2008 to share his expertise on space with the students.
Also in theme we will:
- Continue our study of the solar system
- Further exploration of the northeast states ~ taking a closer look at Connecticut & Deleware
Fieldtrip forms were sent home for our upcoming trips to the Denver Art Museum & Denver Mint trip and our Slim Good body fieldtrip. Please be sure to fill out both sides of the yellow permission slip for these trips.
State Fair projects: This is extensive, so please make sure your child has begun to put this together. The State Fair will take place on the 28-29th of May. Please check 3-4 document links if your child did not bring home the project requirements.
NE States Final Exam will be on Thursday, May 22. This test covers the location, capital, and abbreviation for the twelve northeastern states we are currently studying (yes, spelling counts!) A study guide was sent home; it can also be found under documents on my webpage.
