Colorado History: Last week, the students were divided into four groups to become experts on a region of Colorado. This week, the groups will present their information to the class and take notes on the other groups' presentations. Also last week, students explored why the past is so important. Each student gave a presentation on an artifact which connected him/her to the past.
The TEST over the states that border Colorado, the corridor cities, and locating the Four Corners will be on Wednesday, September 17. A study guide was completed in class on Friday. Please take som ...

Colorado History: The students will continue their study of the four basic regions of Colorado; the plains, mountains, western slope and plateau lands, and the mountain parks. We will also study some of the state's emblems.
Science: We will continue our study of water, taking a look at the water cycle and the three states of matter (solid, liquid, & gas.)

Homeroom: We will continue to test the students in math, reading comprehension and writing in order to properly place them into their appropriate classes.
Colorado History: The students will be introduced to the four basic regions of Colorado; the plains, mountains, western slope and plateau lands, and the mountain parks.
Science: We will continue our study of water, taking a look at the molecular structure of water and the water cycle.
