Dear Parents,

I can't believe the last week of school is here! I want to thank all of you for your support throughout the year. I shall miss the 4th graders, so please come back and visit me-my door is always open! 3rd graders-I am looking forward to 4th grade with you next year!

If you have not done so already, please send in a white T-shirt tomorrow for field day. Mrs. Shelby has been ironing on the Italian flag and our class is going to look great in our team colors! Thank you Mrs. Shelby for taking on the T-shirts and for providing our class with pizza on Wed! Don't forget sunscreen, hat, and a water bottle on Wed.

The state fair was an incredible success. The projects were all amazing! Thank you all for coming!

In theme this week-we will be finishing up our space books, field day, cleaning out desks, 4th grade to visit 5th, and 3rd grade to enlighten 2nd grade on what is to come. Please send in a bag with your student so they will have an easier time carrying things home on Thurs. Thursday is early release at 11:30 am.

Dear Parents,

Governance board vote will close at 4pm on Wed. May 28th.

I want to thank all of the parent volunteers who assisted with the overnight. We could not do this without you!

Parents: You are invited to the State Fair on Thursday May 29th from 8:30-10:00am!

Field Day: June 4th. Ms. Lamonski is looking for parent volunteers to help with field day. Please email her at Miranda.N.Lamonski@adams12.org if you are able to help out on that day.

I am in need of parent volunteers for our "last day of school" party. Please email me if you can help us out!

Last week in theme:

Students began their research of our solar system.
Learned about the rainforest and what it is to be good stewards of the earth.

This week in theme:

State project is due Wed. May 28th.
Parents’ day for State Fair on Thurs. May 29th. 8:30-10:00am.
We will continue our research of the solar system and begin making our solar system books.

Overnight: May 23rd-24th. Information will be coming home in today's weekly folder.

Field Day: June 4th. Ms. Lomonski is looking for parent volunteers to help with field day. Please email her at Miranda.N.Lamonski@adams12.org if you are able to help out on that day.

State Fair: May 28-29th. Please make sure your child is staying on top of their project.

Last week in theme:

Fantastic experience at the Denver Art Museum and the Mint.
Final test taken in the SW states rotation.
Conducted an experiment exploring inertia and friction and the planets orbits around the sun.

This week in theme:

We will begin exploring in depth the sun, planets, asteroids, comets and meteors/meteorites from which the students will create their own solar system books.
More experiments exploring the forces in the solar system.
We will explore environmental stewardship in getting ready for our overnight.
