What's Happening in Ms. Heilbron's Homeroom:

Don’t forget that Entertainment books are due tomorrow, September 11th! Make sure to send in all order forms!
I have been enjoying getting to know my class! We are off to a great start, having already earned two compliment parties! Ask your child to tell you how we earn our compliment parties! This week we will finish our assessments and begin switching for Literacy and Math mid-week.
I am sending home Scholastic Book order forms in today’s folder. They are due back by Tuesday, September 18th. If you are interested in helping me with the Scholastic Book orders this year, please let me know!

It is much easier for me to communicate with you about your questions or concerns via email or telephone. I do not have as much time to address them during class or when you are dropping off or picking up your child. Email is usually the best means to reach me. What's Happening in Theme:
Last week we met with all of the other 1-2 classes and teachers to get to know them. This week we will continue to get to know one another and finish our Friendship Unit. There is no homework this week!
