Homeroom:

    In today’s Monday folder you will be receiving a packet of information, including an itinerary, a field trip permission slip, movie permission slip, and health sheet, for our upcoming overnight field trip.  Please sign these and return them no later than Monday, April 14th.  Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering to help out during the day for the field trip- (two positions are still available), in the evening for dinner,  (four positions are available), or morning for breakfast (four positions are available). 
    We will be doing a 1st-2nd grade Spelling Bee on April 23rd.  We will have weekly practice, in class, beginning on Wednesday, March 19th.  More info to come!

What’s Happening in Theme?
This week we will continue to learn about insects.  We will continue to discuss the complete and incomplete metamorphosis of insects and discuss the life cycle of a butterfly.  We will also discuss arthropods and moths and how they are similar and different to insects. Coming soon:  Caterpillars!!
