Homeroom:

    Thanks to those of you who donated snacks!  The kids were very excited by the selection!  We had a surprisingly well-enjoyed snack during Theme last week!  As we have been studying seeds and the parts of a seed with lima beans, I cooked some lima beans and brought them in for the class to try.  They were an amazing hit!  Most students asked for seconds!
    Don’t forget that with PE in our specials rotation, students will need to have non-black soled athletic shoes.  If they wear snow boots or other shoes to school on PE days, please make sure to send them with tennis shoes!
    Report cards are being sent home at the end of the week, so you should expect them in the mail early next week!

What’s Happening in Theme?
This week we will begin to study the parts of a plant and learn some fascinating facts about plants.  Last week we planted our seeds that had germinated and will now continue to watch them grow!
