What is going on in theme (homeroom) this week?
The students took their pretest late last week for our Earth Science unit. The test is in their Monday Folder today, so that it can be used as a study guide throughout the unit. I did have a couple of no-names so if you don’t see it in the folder, please have your child search the no-name pile. We will be discussing and exploring matter this week. The students will be comparing solids, liquids and gases. We’ll be doing an experiment with the molecular structure of each. Also, the class will be split into small groups to experiment with four different types of liquids.
Homework:Each student needs to bring in a small Ziploc bag of plain flour and a flat piece of cardboard (the size of a sheet of paper). These are due Monday, November 17th!

The students have earned their first marble party! We will be celebrating on Friday. The students voted to have donuts and pajama day. Please make sure they are still wearing appropriate shoes and that their pajamas follow the dress code.
Please collect Box Tops & Pink Yoplait Lids, and send them with your child to school. It is best to put them all in a Ziploc bag and label it “Bryant.” There will be a prize for the class who collects the most.
The next club session begins this week. If your child has a Tuesday club, they will be attending it today since we don’t have school tomorrow. There are no clubs the week of the 24th.
