What is going on in theme (homeroom) this week?

22nd- Clubs begin
30th- Vision/Hearing Screening. Mrs. Episkipos will contact you if there are any results that need to be followed up on!
30th-Scholastic book orders due
October
1st-3rd- Parent/Teacher Conference
1st- Dismissal at 11:30 am
6th- New Specials rotation
16th-Field trip to Fritzler Maze (bring a sack lunch)

Theme this week will include differentiating between “goods and services”, as well as “produce and consume.” We’ll discuss the voting process. Then the class will be discussing elections and the roles of town council and mayor. Also, we’ll be talking about what a town does in the case of a natural disaster.

FYI
Please collect Box Tops, and send them with your child to school. It is best to put them all in a Ziploc bag and label it “Bryant.” There will be a prize for the class who collects the most.
