Welcome (back)! I hope you all had a great summer. We have an amazing class this year and have been having a lot of fun getting to know one another!

Tuesday-Kuhn’s class
Wednesday- Huey’s class
Thursday- Simmons’class
Friday-Powers’class

Also, I will begin testing the students this week for their needs-based math and literacy placements.

Theme Homework- The “Brown Bag It” assignment is due today. The students will be presenting these in front of the class, so help them prepareJ

VOLUNTEERING-
Due to our class being lucky enough to have a student teacher this first half of the year, I will not be using classroom volunteers. However, I will still need volunteers to do some things at home for me, field trips and our class parties. Throughout the school there are also a lot of volunteer opportunities. Such as, your child’s Math/Lit. classes and helping in the library. I appreciate your understanding on this, as Miss Russo needs to complete a certain amount of time to teaching to earn her teaching license.
