Field Trip On Tuesday!
Don't forget that we are having a field trip on Tuesday to Pump It Up! Students will need to bring socks (or wear them) and a sack lunch for the day.
It's Not Too Late...
Did you not get around to contributing in some way to the classroom donated Gala Basket? Not to worry, we are taking last minute items till Wednesday. If you don't have the time to shop or have nothing around the house to regift that fits our theme, just send in some money. If we get a little from everyone, we can put it together to make a big gift card or a few to somewhere or for something. Every little bit helps. If you can't make it to a cash machine, like me, just write a check to Sharon Robinson and she will take care of everything : ) Thank you all for all the great things that were donated for the baskets. I am so excited to see it all put together!!!!
Scholastic Orders Due
Last Monday we sent out a new packet of Scholastic order forms. If you would like to order from this round, please send in your orders and checks in by Tuesday the 6th. Mrs. Galyon, my Scholastic Book order coordinator, made a good point on saving money on shipping and taxes on buying those early holiday gifts. Take advantage while you can. There are many great titles out there to buy!!!!
Gala this Saturday!!!
If you have not signed up for the party of the century, well, ok maybe the year (because I will be there : ) then get on the ball. Monday, November 5th is the last day to put in your R.S.V.P.!!!!! A good time will be had by all!!! See you all there!!!
Skate City
Come join us at Skate City November 20th from 6 to 8 p.m. Come join us and take a few rounds around the rink in your rollar skates while you boogey-oogy. Hope to see you there!
End of Trimester
The end of the first trimester is fast approaching, ending on November 20th. Thus I will be trying to tidy up all my assignments and my grade book. This week I will be going through my grades to see what your child is missing. We will then be looking in our desks to see if we still have it in there and need to complete it and/or turn it in. After this week I will be putting in zeros for missing assignments and you will see their final grade reflect this. If I have some extra copies I will, for this trimester only, give them a second copy. After this trimester it is up to you to check online at Power School, weekly to see if they have all their work turned in for the previous week.
Fun Friday
November 16th is our next Fun Friday. Look in next weeks white Weekly Folder to see how they are doing and if they will be missing Fun Friday next week, are close and need to bump it up or, are doing just fine!
