Weekly Theme Update

This week we will be finishing up the Magnet unit with our end of unit test on Thursday.    We will have our last lesson tomorrow!   I posted a review sheet on my classroom web page.   Make sure to download it and study for the test!!!!!   Wednesday and Friday we have Junior Achievement coming in during Theme time to work more on communities.    Next week we will be starting our Earth Unit.  

Marble Jar Filled!!!!!!

Last week we finally filled our marble jar for the first time this year.   We will be having our marble party on Wednesday.   Students get to wear their p.j.'s for the day, bring in one favorite stuffed animal and eat lunch with me that day while we watch a G-rated movie.   Students our welcome to bring in their favorite G-rated movie and we will vote on what to watch for lunch.   I now it took us a while to fill it, but I am very proud of them.   I think this one will fill up faster.   We already earned 5 marbles today!

Field Trip Tuesday

Don't forget a sack lunch Tuesday and warm clothes for our field trip for the Seusical Play at the Arvada Center.    We will be eating outside!!!!   It looks like it will be fair out, but we want to make sure we are still warm.   We are leaving at 9 and returning in time for Specials.

Classroom Music Concert Thursday

Wow, we have a super busy week!   Don't forget that we have our classroom music concert on Thursday night.   Students need to be in the classroom at 6:15 Thursday night, dressed, pottied and ready to go.   The concert starts at 6:30 in the Cafeteria (Multi-Purpose room).   Don't forget those cameras.   All are welcome to attend for this great event!

Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night

Thursday is also Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night!   In a hurry to get the kids fed, dressed and to the concert in time?    Grab some Chick-Fil-A on the way!   Make sure to fill out a form while you are there so we can get credit for your purchase/visit.   I will be there!!!!

Yoplait Yogurt Lids, Box Tops and Campbell's Soup Labels

Don't forget to send in your pink Yoplait Yogurt Lids, Box Tops and Campbell's Soup Labels.   Our collection container is very empty.   The yogurt lids help raise money for cancer research.   The class that collects the most wins a party to celebrate all they collected.   We get money for our school for all the Box Tops and Campbell's Soup Labels we collect.   Thanks for sending these in!
