Notification regarding closure or delayed start for Stargate due to inclement weather will be made by District 12. The Superintendent of District 12 will make this information available by 5:30 a.m. District 12 will advertise closure or delayed start on the radio, on TV channels, and the District 12 website at http://www.adams12.org/. You can also call the district school closure line at 720-972-4000, option 7 for this information.

The Superintendent will determine whether there will be a delayed start or school closure. In the event of a delayed start for Stargate, please send your children to school no earlier that the delayed start time of 10:00 a.m. Please note that Eagle's Landing, A.M. Kindergarten, Instrumental Band and any other before-school activity will be cancelled in the event of a delayed start. Dismissal will be at the normal time.

Adjustments will be made to the master calendar to make up cancelled school days that cause the school year to fall short of district requirements.

Inside Days - If the temperature is below 20 degrees Fahrenheit or heavy precipitation is present, students will be allowed to enter the school through the main entrance and proceed to their homeroom. Indoor recess will be supervised by adults in the classroom. Student dismissals will also be conducted through the main entrance. Colorful windsocks will be displayed at different locations around the school to indicate that conditions exist for an "inside day".
