Sources for IQ Testing
The sources below are for reference only. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to determine the individual or organization that can best serve their testing needs.
Stargate requires full-scale IQ scores from one of the following:
Wechsler Intelligence Scales for Children
- WISC-IV, Applicants for Grades 2-8 (The WISC-III will no longer be accepted.)
- WPPSI –III for Kindergarten and 1st Grade Applicants (The WPPSI-R will no longer be accepted.)
Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale
- 5th Edition, 2003 (The 4th Edition will no longer be accepted.)
IMPORTANT-PLEASE NOTE!! We DO NOT ACCEPT GAI Scores. Be sure to request that the psychologist provides you with information regarding all testing and pricing options.
We will need an original copy of the report with a summary regarding your child’s performance.
You may qualify for financial assistance with the IQ test. You must complete and submit the Parent and Teacher Nomination forms, along with the Application for Free and Reduced lunch, in order to be considered for financial aid. We can only provide financial assistance to a limited number of applicants.
